Meet ‘Bubbles’ Corrina Colada! – Orient Beaches’ Queen of Shakes.
One of our favorite little spots in St Maarten – St Martin has to be the quintessentially beach bar-esque Bikini Beach Bar on the famed Orient beach strip in the French side of the island.
Buddha statues, the ‘Noodle-kini’ noodle bar and a beach bar menu sprinkled with Asian delights make this beach bar a little different.
If you’re from England then you won’t fail to hear Corrinas’ lilting Yorkshire accent trumpeting cheerfully through the laughter of the bar crowd as she deftly rustles up a Mojito as easily and unconsciously as a seasoned ice-skater performing a triple-axle back-flip somersault……ok, we exaggerate – a little.
Bikini is easy to find as it’s next to the main parking spot right there at the edge of the French ‘Le Village’ gateway to Orient Beach.
Say hi to Corinna if you see her – she’s has the disposition you’d expect of someone who’s glad to be living in a happy sunny climate……and serving up delicious cocktails!
